SB Pacific Group’s leadership has operated in the multi-family real estate investment space since it’s founding in 1986 as Quality Construction. It’s unique history and decades of experience make the company highly specialized, allowing it to consistently deliver exceptional returns.

The Beginning

Igal & Yuval started SB Pacific in 1986 to achieve their goals of financial independence by renovating smaller multi-unit family homes.

Pioneers in their field, they relied on their personal finances to create and establish a thriving and profitable business.

 

 

1990

An unexpected turn

After the 1989 earthquake, renovation and retrofitting of brick buildings gave SB Pacific a new direction. Their construction experience, combined with an acumen for identifying properties with potential sowed the initial seeds of growth.

 

 

1997

SB Pacific Group purchases building at 2295 San Pablo Ave. and moves from leased office space to new location.

 

 

2005

A fresh perspective

Bolder investments outside their home state of California saw SB Pacific expanding to San Antonio in 2005. These investments in larger multifamily buildings required investments – which came from friends and family, not to mention the partners’ personal capital.  It is a matter of pride to the entire team that every investor they started with is still on board!

 

 

2005

SB Pacific Group constructs a third story addition to their office building and the operation moves to brand new offices on the third floor.

 

 

2014

New Horizons

SB Pacific Group aggressively pivoted by partnering with Brandon, a trusted advisor and industry professional, to initiate a new path for the organization. Under this new evolution, the company would see massive growth, expanding into new markets and further accessing new relationships. Acute analysis and local knowledge, combined with establishment of strong alliances for outsourced functions such as property management and underwriting allowed for growth on the back of a lean core team.

SB Pacific Group enters Arizona.

SB Pacific Group acquires first property in Mississippi.

Combining Igal and Yuval’s history in Israel with the desire to scale the business, SB Pacific Group partnered with Amit to raise capital and develop a presence and relationship in Israel.

SB Pacific Group enters new market in Florida.

As SB Pacific Group’s ownership passed 2,000 units, Peter was brought on as a dedicated Asset Manager to oversee the growing portfolio and ensure no details would be overlooked.

Jonathan

In order to dedicate more resources to the investor relationship as well as financial operations and corporate growth, the company onboarded Jonathan to develop a new role within SB Pacific Group.

SB Pacific Group made a strategic decision to hire Kevin as an in-house construction manager based in Louisiana, central to the portfolio, to oversee all aspects of maintenance, repairs, and value add projects, increasing our oversight at the property level.

SB Pacific Group launches its first fund, SBPG Apartment Growth and Income Fund I LP.

SB Pacific Group transitioned from 3rd party to vertically integrated management under City Heights Asset Management led by Susan Partrich.
